BANGALORE, OCT. 1. Two persons from Orissa were run over by a train at Benniganahalli, off Ramamurthynagar, on Thursday night. The police gave the names of the dead as Sushmitha (33) and Subashchandra Rawath (26). Sushmitha, a garment factory employee, and Rawath, a plumber, were residents of Chamundi Layout in Sadanandanagar, off NGEF here. They were run over by the train while they were crossing the tracks around 8.30 p.m. The Cantonment Railway police have registered a case. After autopsy at Bowring Hospital on Friday, the bodies were handed over to their relatives, the police said.
