KARIMNAGAR, OCT. 4. The Collector, C. Parthasarathi, suspended the Kanukala village Secretary, P. Narsinga Rao of Sultanabad mandal, on the charge of irregularities in the issuance of pattadar passbooks and title deeds to the farmers of Jubileenagar and Fakirpet villages when he the Village administrative officer (VAO) in Karimnagar mandal. The Collector also ordered cancellation of cheque powers to three village sarpanches of Kareempet village in Shankarpatnam mandal, Allipur village in Raikal mandal and Katkur village in Sircilla mandal on the charges of misuse of grama panchayat funds and non-maintenance of records respectively, a release said here on Monday.
