Panel for minorities

Sir, — This refers to the commission planned for the backward sections among the minorities. It has the potential to divide the country once again.

Even caste-based reservation was envisaged only for 10 years. It was extended to some sections by self-serving politicians with an eye on votes. The vested interests are at it again. Reservation is now eating into the vitals of the nation.

Sir, — Reservation for the minorities should be seen as social justice. It is in line with constitutional provisions and the true democratic spirit.
