`I am very much at home in the BJP'

By Our Staff Correspondent

MANGALORE, OCT. 5. The former Chief Minister S. Bangarappa today asserted that he was "very much at home in the BJP."

Answering questions at a press conference here today, he said there should be no doubt that his relationship with the BJP would last forever.

Irked by reports that he was being sidelined by the BJP, Mr. Bangarappa said the BJP had accepted him as its leader. He had not found any reason to be unhappy with the BJP and the party also felt the same way about him.

Those who wanted to "disparage" this relationship by writing adversely about it were in for a big disappointment, he said.

Mr. Bangarappa also visited the zonal headquarters of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Sanghaniketan, here today and met RSS leaders.
