Nellore
NELLORE, OCT.5. The MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy, has urged people not to give any political colour to the proposed upgradation of Nellore municipality into a corporation. Addressing a press conference here on Tuesday, he said that as the town would naturally benefit from upgradation as it would get better services and facilities, it would be better that the issue be kept beyond politics, he said. Mr. Reddy said, he considered himself fortunate as his dream of seeing the municipality upgraded into a Corporation and the summer storage drinking water scheme at Nellore at a cost of Rs. 100 crores would be fulfilled. The M.L.A said he would now concentrate on proper utilisation of DFID and World Bank funds.
