CUDDAPAH, OCT. 5. The District Integrated Action Plan, projected with an outlay of Rs. 80.74 crores, is envisaged to cover 20,106 units in the current year through convergence of all self-employment schemes under various departments, an official statement said on Tuesday. Mandal-wise integrated plans were projected and communicated to the mandal convergence committees by the DRDA. SHGs would be rated by October 10, mandal convergence committee meetings held before October 15, SHG interface meetings and identification of beneficiary groups by October 25 and proposals should be submitted to the DRDA by October 30, as per the schedule approved by the District Review Committee meeting held on September 29. Sanction proceedings would be issued by the departments concerned by November 5 and units would be grounded from November 10 onwards, the statement said. Only `A'grade groups below the poverty line category would be eligible for selection and the interests of SCs and STs should be protected, it said. Groups availing of benefits under Government sponsored programmes in the past were not eligible, the statement said.
