Binu accorded warm reception
KOCHI,
OCT. 5.
A warm reception was accorded to Olympian K.M. Binu by his family members, friends and colleagues at the Nedumbassery airport on Tuesday, as the athlete returned to Kerala after participating in the Athens Olympics and a few other international circuit meets. At the Olympics, Binu had shattered the 400m National record. The reception was arranged by the Central Excise Department, Binu's employer. A release said the Department would be organising a public function to felicitate Binu, working as an inspector, after he rejoins duty next Monday.
