TIRUVANNAMALAI, OCT. 5 Rajath Kamal of Indian Bank fought well to down G. Vinodh (S. Railway) 11-13, 4-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-9, 10-12, 13-11 in the men's final of the 12th State ranking table tennis tournament, conducted by the Tiruvannamalai DTTA, here recently.

The results:

Men: semi-finals: Rajath Kamal bt D. Samson (FCI) 11-6, 11-8, 11-9, 11-6; G. Vinodh bt K. Srivatsa (AGORC) 10-12, 11-7, 11-6, 11-5, 11-3.

Women: final: K. Shamini (IB) bt M. Aparna (Medimix) 6-11, 11-6, 11-1, 11-9, 10-12, 11-7; Semi-finals: K. Shamini bt N. Arul Selvi (IB) 9-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-1, 11-8; M. Aparna bt J. Swarna (Medimix) 3-11, 11-9, 11-9, 11-7, 11-3.
