Mark Waugh to lead cheer squad
BANGALORE,
OCT. 5.
The Aussies practised hard at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Tuesday afternoon. However, all eyes were on the pavilion terrace as Mark Waugh stood and surveyed a venue familiar to him. The former Australian cricketer is here for the first Test. Waugh will guide a boisterous bunch of `Australian tour supporters' during the first Test and will also be at Chennai for the second Test, commencing there on October 14.
Waugh and his bunch will then head for Kerala. Waugh will leave for Australia thereafter and Merv Hughes will don the guide's role during the second leg of the Indian tour.
