CHENNAI, OCT. 5. An unidentified person allegedly kidnapped a 13-year-old girl from Sengundram Road, Ambattur, at knifepoint on Sunday. He removed four grams of ear studs from her before leaving the girl near her home the next morning. According to police, the girl went for her dance class on Sunday, when a man in an autorickshaw abducted her at knifepoint. She was not able to identify or name the places to which she was taken by the abductor. The girl was detained the whole day and later in the night, the stranger removed the studs from her. She was dropped near her home early on Monday morning. Ambattur police are investigating.
