Exam schedule for DDE students

MADURAI, OCT.5. The Directorate of Distance Education of the Madurai Kamaraj University has announced the dates of non-semester examinations to be held in December.

The last date for submission of applications has also been fixed. The application forms are being sent to students by the DDE, a press notification from the Additional Controller of Examinations in-charge, A. Srinivasan, said.

The examinations for B.A, B. Sc., B. Com., B. Com. (CA), BBE, BBA, BCA and B. Lit., will commence on December 18. The application forms can be submitted without penalty till November 1 and with a penalty till November 11.

Examinations for M.A., M. Sc. (Maths), M. Com., M.Com. (Coop), MBM, MTM and MLM, MLS courses will commence on December 26. The application forms can be submitted without penalty till November 8 and with penalty till November 22.

For the certificate, diploma, postgraduate diploma and pre-foundation courses, the examinations begin on November 24 and the application forms have to be submitted by November 1 without penalty and with penalty till November 16.

The examinations for B. Ed., M. Ed., B. L. I. Sc., M. L. I. Sc., and B.G.L. courses will start on December 31 and the forms can be submitted without penalty till November 5 and with a penalty till November 19.

Application forms for private candidates will be issued in person at the university. They can also be had by post on request addressed to the Additional Controller of Examinations along with a self-addressed cover affixed with a postage stamp for Rs.15. Last date extended

The last date for issue of prospectus and receipt of filled-in applications for various courses of the Tamil Nadu Open University has been extended to October 31. According to a release, students can submit the forms till October 31for the academic year 2004-05. Further details can be had from the university study centre at the Thiagarajar College here.
