MADURAI, OCT.5. The city today registered a maximum temperature of 35.6 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 25.2 degrees Celsius.

`Provide enhanced sum'
A resolution adopted at the State executive committee meeting held here recently, with the State youth wing secretary, Sellam, in the chair, the AIFB faction thanked the Centre for expediting the Sethusamudram project. It urged the State Government to fill vacancies in government offices and initiate measures to reinstate road workers.
