BANGALORE, OCT. 5. Three convicts died of illness in Victoria Hospital on Tuesday. Their names were given as Venkataramaiah (75) of Bagepalli in Kolar district, Uma Shankar (27) of Chikkodi in Belgaum district and Keerthi (22) of Chitradurga district. Venkataramaiah and Shankar were serving sentences of life imprisonment in murder and attempt-to-murder cases, respectively. Keerthi was convicted in a theft case. They were lodged in the Central Prison at Parappana Agrahara here.
