Solatium for kin of electrocuted

CHENNAI, OCT. 6. Chief Minister Jayalalithaa has announced a solatium of Rs.50,000 to the next of kin of a worker, who was electrocuted while engaged in municipality work last week.

Mohan died after stepping on a live power cable while working on a stormwater drain in Kamarajar Nagar, Vyasarpadi. Expressing her deep grief over the incident, the Chief Minister announced the ex-gratia.
