Coimbatore Oct. 6. A two-day science programme has been organised by the Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre in all the 30 districts in the State with a view of the `Year of Scientific Awareness'. A science expo will be part of the programme. District-wide quiz, elocution and essay competition will be organised. Besides, science video programme, lectures, mini planetarium shows and night sky watch programmes using portable telescopes and science demonstrations will be included. The programme will be held in the following places: Mani HSS in Coimbatore on October 7 & 8, AET MHSS, Pavalathampalayam in Erode on October 11 & 12 and St Theresa Girls HSS, Thinnappa Nagar in Karur on October 13 &14.
