This Day That Age
George Bernard Shaw's house in Hertfordshire is to be let out by Shaw's trustees to a wealthy American businessman at a rent of 175 pounds a year. Shaw left the house to the nation, but made no provision for its maintenance. The new tenant, whose name has so far not been disclosed, must leave the study, where Shaw wrote his plays and books, completely undisturbed. The public will be admitted to this room and garden one day in a week.
