Cricket
MUMBAI, OCT. 8. Reacting to the Madras High Court's order restraining the newly-elected BCCI office-bearers from functioning, the former BCCI President Inder Singh Bindra said: "It's a day for all of us to reflect, including me, as to the way we have been conducting ourselves in the recent past. Individuals are not important, but cricket is and it should not suffer. We should not bring the game into disrepute.'' Speaking to The Hindu, Raj Singh, commenting on the Madras High Court order said "It's a sad day for Indian cricket. In the last three weeks or so, decisions have been taken in an arbitrary manner. Meetings have been called at drop of a hat. I sincerely hope that people will realise that nobody is indispensable. In all walks of life, people have come and gone. Bradman was not indispensable.''
