CHENNAI, OCT. 8. C.H. Savetha of Salem is in sole lead with six points at the end of the sixth round in the under-11 girls' section in the Tamil Nadu State children's chess championship being organised by the Saranya Chess Centre at the Nehru stadium here. Three others Bharathi (Chennai), J. Saranya (Thiruvallur) and S. Srinidhi (Coimbatore) were jointly in second place with five points each. In the boys' section, three players, K. Priyadharshan (Madurai), N. Srinath (Chennai) and J. Bhavan Kumar (Bloom) with 5.5 points were in joint lead. Five others with five points each were in second position. In the under-13 section, R.A. Pradeep Kumar (Jamalia) was on top with 5.5 points after he held R. Ashwath (Capa, Chennai) to a creditable draw. Aswath, K. Narayanan (Sivagangai) and B. Adhiban (Chennai) are in second spot with five points each.
