Bhandari scalps five

NEW DELHI, OCT. 8. A five-wicket haul by medium-pacer Amit Bhandari helped Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) to a nine-run victory over Mohan Meakin in the semifinals of the Padmashri N.N. Mohan memorial all-India cricket tournament at the Mohan Nagar ground in Ghaziabad.

The scores: ONGC 183 for nine in 45 overs (Ajay Ratra 45, Ajeet Chandela four for 38) bt Mohan Meakin 174 in 42.6 overs (Abhinav Bali 52, Satender Yadav 43, Amit Bhandari five for 21).
