NEW DELHI, OCT. 8. Jwalant Kumar's five-wicket haul helped Madras Club post a six-wicket victory over Goswami Ganesh Dutt Club in the Elite `II' division DDCA cricket league at the Guru Gobind Singh College ground.
J.N. Golden CC 275 for eight in 40 overs (Kunal Banerjee 88, Gaurav Bansal 85, Hemant Ratan 42 not out, Naveen Kumar four for 41) beat Patel Nagar Club 123 in 26.2 overs (Hardeep Singh 63).
Telefunken Club 322 for seven in 40 overs (Saurabh Shukla 108, Mohit Puri 84) beat Hind CC 296 for four in 40 overs (Parminder Singh 91, Manoj Kumar 77 not out, Aditya Jain 60).
Goswami Ganesh Dutt Club 158 for nine in 35 overs (Surender Dayma 82 not out, Jwalant Kumar five for 21) lost to Madras Club 159 for four in 30.3 overs (Puneet Bisht 77, Varun Sood 44).
