LIC SC beats BEL

BANGALORE, OCT. 8. LIC Sports Club rallied to beat BEL 19-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-15 in the Karnataka Volleyball Association's senior division league championship at Sree Kanteerava Stadium courts here on Friday. Spiker Anil put up a dazzling show for LIC while, Raghu and Pradeep, kept BEL in the fight for a while.

CIL and ITI Sports Clubs chalked up easy wins in the other matches. CIL beat Sports Hostel 25-17, 25-20, 25-20 and ITI made short work of HMT in 49 minutes at 25-19, 25-12, 25-16.

The results: KSP bt Postal 23-25, 25-21, 25-19, 25-21; LIC bt BEL 19-25, 25-21, 25-22, 25-15; ITI bt HMT 25-19, 25-12, 25-16; CIL bt Sports Hostel 25-17, 25-20, 25-20.
