Award for charitable trust

HYDERABAD,
OCT. 8.
The Save A Child's Heart (SACH) Foundation, a charitable organisation working for children with heart disease in the country under the aegis of Apollo Hospitals, has been declared runner-up in the Corporate Governance Category in Asia at `Hospital Management Asia-2004' being held at Bangkok, Thailand.
Hospital Management Asia is an annual conference of hospitals across Asia, hosted this year by Thailand. The award was presented to SACH in recognition of its efforts towards making a difference in improving corporate governance in healthcare.
Established in June 2003, SACH has been at the forefront of efforts to provide succour to children with heart disease. It has screened over 20,000 children across the country and has provided financial assistance for surgery to 212 children.
