Around the City

Mainly clear sky forecast

The sky on will be mainly clear on Saturday, according to the forecast for Bangalore.

The maximum and minimum temperatures will be 30 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius, respectively.

On Friday, the city recorded a maximum temperature of 30.5 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 18.4 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity stood at 41 per cent. At the airport, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 29.8 degrees Celsius and 17.3 degrees Celsius, respectively. The relative humidity was 40 per cent.

Eye check-up

Dr. Agarwal's Hospitals will conduct a free eye check-up camp for patients with corneal blindness from October 9 to 16, between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. Details are available on phone (2224 0736/2222 3100/98860 10510).

Study overseas

The Alliance Francaise de Bangalore (AFB) says the `Institute Superieur d'Electronique de Paris' will be present at its premises on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. to counsel students who wish to study electronic and computer engineering in France. Medical camp
