Irudhayaraj gives St. Mary's the title
ARIYALUR,
OCT. 9.
St. Mary's HSS (Dindigul) scored a solitary goal win over Sankar HSS (Sankagiri) to claim the trophy in the inaugural State-level hockey tournament, conducted by Montfort HSS, here today. Irudhayaraj scored the match-winner.
St. Paul's HSS (Salem) registered a hard-fought 4-3 victory via tie-breaker (sudden death) over a fighting Arokiya Annai HSS, Keeranur (Pudukottai district) to claim the third place.
