G.V. Raja awards for Binu and Jincy

THRISSUR, OCT. 9. Athletes K.M. Binu and Jincy Philip have been chosen for the last year's G.V. Raja awards in the men's and women's sections respectively.

Both the athletes will receive Rs. 50,000 and a certificate each, according to the Kerala Sports Council president, C. Mohanachandran.

Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, the KSC president said that the awards will be distributed by the State Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, at a public function in Thiruvananthapuram on October 13.
