Ramakrishna shocked

Second-seeded J. Ramakrishna of South Central Railway suffered a shock defeat to K. Venumadhav in the second round of the rapid chess selection tournament at the Diamond Jubilee High School on Saturday.
Important results (Second round): Venumadhav (2) bt J. Ramakrishna (1), P.P.C. Rao (2) bt Bhavana (1), Chaitanya (1) lost to P.V.V. Seshu (2), K.L. Praneetha (2) bt Vijay Kanth (1), M.R.P. Varma (1) lost to Aditya Vikas (2), Subba Raju (1.5) drew with Venkateshwar Reddy (1.5), Vaishali (2) bt Azeez (1).
