Good knock by Ilamaran

DINDIGUL, OCT. 10. Helped by an unbeaten 77 by wicket keeper-cum-opener A. Ilamaran and his 161-run partnership with the other opener T. Devendra Kumar (62), Sam Babu XI, Kodaikanal carved out an emphatic nine-wicket victory over Majestic Cricket Club in the Indian Bank-DDCA first division league here on Sunday.

The scores: Majestic CC 178 in 30.2 overs (R. Ravichandran 65) lost to Sam Babu XI 179 for one in 15.4 overs (A. Ilamaran 77 not out, T. Devendra Kumar 62).

Sam Babu XI 185 in 41.1 overs (A. Ilamaran 56) lost to PSNA College of Engg 186 for eight in 41.5 overs (Prabu Kaliraj 41).
