Seshu emerges leader
HYDERABAD,
OCT.10.
P.V.V. Seshu emerged the leader with five points, while 10-year-old Vijaykanth defeated FIDE rated player P.P.C. Rao in the fifth round of the rapid chess selection tournament here on Sunday.
Important results (fifth round): P.V.V. Seshu (5) b J. Ramakrishna (3), Vijaykanth (4) bt P.P.C. Rao (3), K.L. Praneetha (4) bt K.Venumadhav (3), Bhavana (4) bt Aditya Vikas (3), Azeez (4) bt Subba Raju (2.5), Chaianya (2.5) lost to M.R.P. Varma (3).
