Jeevan sparkles

KOCHI, OCT. 10. Medium-pacer T.G. Jeevan, with a five-wicket haul, helped Pathanamthitta down Kollam by 25 runs in the State under-17 inter-district cricket championship at the St. Paul's College Ground, Kalamassery, on Sunday.

The scores: Pathanamthitta 162 for nine in 45 overs (Prasanth M. Shah 40, S. Zulfikar three for 52, Mohd Ajith three for 30) bt Kollam 137 in 30.2 overs (Jishnu Mohan 27, T.G. Jeevan five for 54).
