Kannur bags title

KOZHIKODE, OCT. 10. Kannur won the North Zone (under-22) inter-district cricket championship, crushing host Kozhikode by 115 runs in the final at the Medical College Ground here on Sunday.

The scores: Kannur 244 for nine in 45 overs (Vilas N. Kutty 49, Prajeesh 44, A. Fahad six for 54) bt Kozhikode 129 in 41.3 overs (Shahid four for 22, four for 48).
