BANGALORE, OCT. 10. New Zealand umpire Billy Bowden, who officiated in the first Test between India and Australia, advised the State's Ranji panel umpires to stay strong. "There will be ups and downs but stay strong and remember a few wrong decisions are bound to happen," Bowden told the State umpires before leaving the Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bowden, who has received flak for a few decisions in the match here, also reiterated his focus. "I do my antics to signal a four or a six but that is the only time I switch off and relax, other times I am focussed on the ball. Just because I signal with that style does not mean I am not focussed, I hope people understand that," he said. Officiating his first Test in India, Bowden said that the noise level here was something he has never experienced before in his matches abroad.
