HYDERABAD, OCT. 10. The three-year-old boy, P. Manikantha, who was abducted from his residence at Padmarao Nagar on Saturday, still remains untraced. The boy was allegedly kidnapped by one Naveen, an employee in the dairy farm, owned by the boy's father, P. Raj Kumar.
No call for ransom
The Chilkalguda police said so far the abductors had not called the parents for ransom. It is learnt that Naveen, a native of Bihar was offended when Mr. Raj Kumar abused him when he failed to attend to some work. Naveen is believed to have roped in three friends -- Motiram, Prithvi and another unidentified person, all natives of Bihar. He reportedly kidnapped the boy from his house when the parents were away on Saturday evening. Manikantha's sister Sneha told her parents that Naveen took Manikantha along promising to buy him chocolates.
