Gulshan Rai dead

Mumbai, Oct, 11. Renowned producer, Gulshan Rai, maker of Bollywood blockbusters such as "Deewar" and "Trishul", died here today following a prolonged illness.

He was 82.

He is survived by his son Rajiv Rai, who is also a director, and a daughter.

Family sources said that Gulshan Rai was bed-ridden for the last couple of years and suffering from age related ailments.
