Centre's borrowing plan

NEW DELHI, OCT. 12 . Unfazed by the upward pressure on interest rates due to high inflation, the Government will go ahead with its market borrowing programme as scheduled for the next few months.

"We will stick to the borrowing schedule. There is no need for undue concern,'' the Budget Secretary, D. Swarup, said on the sidelines of a seminar here today.
