KOZHIKODE, OCT. 12. The police arrested two more persons here today in connection with the attack on nuns of the Missionaries of Charity. The Crime Branch Superintendent of Police SIG-III, A.M. Mathew Polycarp, identified the arrested persons as Rathish (29) of Arapuzha Nadakkavu and Unnikrishnan (40) of Pantheerankavu. They were arrested this morning by V.K. Jose, Dy.SP, and party. With today's arrests, the number of those arrested in the case has risen to 14. One person was arrested on October 1. Four more were nabbed by the Crime Branch on October 5. On October 7, seven persons were arrested. The case relates to attacks on the missionaries at Mambuzhakkad Methal Dalit Colony here on September 25. Nine persons were injured in the attacks.
