Sansitha moves up

COIMBATORE, OCT. 12. N. Sansitha of Vidya Niketan entered the under-18 semifinals with an 8-3 victory over J. Kesika of St. Francis in the Crimson inter-schools tennis tournament here on Tuesday.

The results: Under-18: Girls (quarterfinals): R. Subhashree (Perks) bt M. Deepthi (Stanes) 8-6, N. Sansitha (Vidhya Niketan) bt J. Kesika (St. Francis) 8-3, R. Samyuktha (GRG) bt S. Pavithra (Air Force) 8-5, Venkatalakshmi (Perks) bt V. Madhumitha (GRG) 8-2.

Boys: Ashok Bheem Rao (SBOA) bt Karthick Nagarajan (Kikani) 8-2, Kavin Kumar (GD) bt Venkatesh Kumar (Railway) 8-3, Arun Vishwanath (BVB) bt M. Gowtham (Perks) 8-0, Karthick Praveen Kumar (Perks) bt Rajaram (Venkatalakshmi).
