Andhra Bank takes lead

HYDERABAD, OCT. 12 . Fine bowling by Mohd Ghouse Baba (six for 61) and century by Ranji opener A. Nandakishore (110, 11 x 4) helped Andhra Bank take vital first innings lead against State Bank of India in the South-end Raymonds three-day knock-out cricket tournament here today.

The scores: Parle Cup: St. Patrick's HS 219 for four (A. Vijay 73, Moizuddin 90) bt Bhega's HS 113 (Shanti Prakash four for 21).

Wesley Jr College 239 for eight (B. Naresh Kumar 71, Mohd Azmath Khan 69) bt All Saint's HS 149 for seven.

South-end Raymonds three-day knock-out (2nd day): SBI 215 (Mohd Ghouse Baba six for 61) vs Andhra Bank 252 for four (A.Nandakishore 110, Kiran Kumar 46 not out).

A-Institution league: Green Turf 98 lost to HMWSSB 104 for five.

A-Division league: Hyder 231 for nine (Kiran Kishore 52, Sohail five for 55) bt Southern Stars 227 (Fateh Ali 102, M.Indraneel eight for 42).

B-Division league: Victory PG 174 (Mukkaram four for 41, Srinivas four for 24) bt Sanjivi 128 (Srinu 45, M.A. Kaleem six for 30).
