Khurana planning to quit?
NEW DELHI,
OCT. 12.
Speculation about the Rajasthan Governor, Madan Lal Khurana, was rife today with reports circulating that he was planning to resign shortly.
Party sources here claimed that Mr. Khurana had taken a decision to quit and would put in his papers "very soon."
The sources said the former Delhi Chief Minister was keen on returning to active politics and could take the decision before his birthday on October 15.
However, Mr. Khurana, when contacted, declined to comment on the reports.
Raj Bhavan sources, however, described as "baseless" the reports that Mr. Khurana was planning to resign.
