BELGAUM, OCT. 13. The President, A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, will inaugurate a dharamshala on the K.L.E. Society's Hospital and Medical Research Centre campus here on Friday afternoon. Announcing the programme schedule of the President, Prabhakar Kore, MLC and chairman of the society, said the building, constructed at the cost of nearly Rs. 3 crores, was meant for attendants of poor patients. It had two big halls on the ground floor, 16 rooms on the first floor, a modern kitchen, bathrooms, toilets and facilities to wash clothes. The facilities would be offered free. Dr. Kalam would inaugurate the new CT & 1.5 T MRI units at the hospital. No other hospital between Bangalore and Pune had them, he added.
