Kerala Urban Development pays 5 p.c.

KOZHIKODE: The Kerala Urban and Rural Development Finance Corporation Limited (KURDFC) registered a profit of Rs. 61.88 lakhs during 2003-04. A meeting of the board of directors of KURDFC which met here recently had also recommended 5 per cent dividend to the shareholders. The company has decided to increase its share capital by Rs. 11 crores. The company was also considering raising institutional finance at lower rates of interest to cater to the needs of urban and rural local bodies in the State.
