KOZHIKODE, OCT. 13. Two persons were killed and one was injured when a mini lorry loaded with fish hit another stationary lorry at Kottappuram in Kondotty early this morning. According to the police, the deceased were identified as Abdul Jaleel, 22, of Elathur in Kozhikode district and Suraj, 21, of Mahe. While Jaleel died on the spot, Suraj succumbed to injuries on the way to hospital. The driver, Divesh of Mahe, was admitted to Kozhikode Medical College Hospital with injuries. The accident occurred when a mini lorry coming from Mahe to Kondotty hit the rear of a stationary lorry. Fire force personnel were called to extricate the injured from the mini lorry, which was badly damaged in the accident.
