GULBARGA, OCT. 13. Two Yuvak Sanghas and 10 youths will receive the State Award for Yuvak Sanghas and the State Youth Award for 2002-03. Official sources said here today that while Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Yuvak Mandali based in Kamatnur in Hukeri taluk of Belgaum and Netaji Yuvak Sangh in Hassan had been selected for the State Award for Yuvak Sanghas, which comprises a purse of Rs. 25,000 and a citation, the 10 youths would receive the State Youth Awards comprising a purse of Rs. 5,000 and a citation. The youths selected for the award include Suresh D. Badiger of Gulbarga district, K. Mahesh of Chandapur Yuvak Sangha in Anekal taluk in Bangalore Rural district, Sanjay Nayak of Sai Vinayak Yuvak Sangha in Koratgere in Tumkur district, K. Yogesh of Young Star Youth Club in Harapanahalli in Davangere district, Harish Rao of Anchatti village in Udupi district, H.T. Lakshman of Jyothi Yuvak Sangha in Madikeri, Yellappa R. Hebbur of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Yuvak Sangha in Kundagol taluk in Dharwad district, Andanayya Hiremath of Anjenaya Yuvak Mandali in Gadag district, Chaman Sharief of Chetan Yuvak Sangh in Hiriyur taluk in Chitradurga district and H.C. Raghavendra of Swamy Vivekanand Yuvak Sangh in Hospet taluk in Bellary district.
