PATHANAMTHITTA, OCT. 13. A national seminar on ``Women and Literature'' was held at Mar Thoma College in Thiruvalla today.

The Professor Emeritus, University of Rajasthan, and the Professor and elected life member of the Clare Hall, Cambridge, Jasbir Jain, delivered the keynote address at the seminar organised by the English Department at the Mar Thoma College.

C.T. Titus, former Principal of the College, inaugurated the seminar at a function.

N.M. Mathew, Head of Department of English, Susan Oommen of Stella Mary's College, Chennai, Shiela Elizabeth Abraham, Bejoy Varghese, and Tintu Mathew were among those who addressed the seminar.
