BATALA, OCT. 13. Narinder Singh, the prime accused in acid throwing incident in which two girls sustained burn injuries in this industrial town on Tuesday had surrendered before police. Mandip Kaur (22) and her sister Kuljit Kaur, sustained burn injuries when their neighbour Narinder Singh alias Ninder threw acid on them while they were going to their duty in the nursing home on a rickshaw near Lakkar Mandi here yesterday, the police said. While confessing acid throwing, he said that he had fallen in love with Kuljit Kaur but her elder sister Mandip Kaur was main hurdle in their love. PTI
