CHANDIGARH, OCT.13. The former Haryana Minister and Congress MLA, Karan Singh Dalal, today threatened to file a public interest litigation in the Punjab and Haryana High Court in case the Chautala regime in Haryana went ahead with its move to "denotify'' prime land in the Gurgaon belt and auctioned the same to DLF Limited for developing a Cyber City. In a statement here, Mr. Dalal said that ever since he and the Indian Youth Congress president, Randeep Singh Surjewala, had highlighted that the State Government was acquiring prime land in Nathupur at a throwaway price and transferring it to DLF, the powers that be were trying to get this land auctioned in favour of the builder "clandestinely''. Mr. Dalal asserted that he would not allow the present rulers to sell off the State's property in such a manner and said that the Congress would get all such land deals cancelled on coming to power and register cases against both the guilty officers and the Chautala family.
