The IT route to teaching the disabled

CHENNAI,
OCT. 13.
Disabled children could be taught using Information Technology, according to E. Balagurusamy, Vice-Chancellor, Anna University.
He assured the parents and teachers of Bala Vidyalaya, a school for young hearing impaired, of support for reviewing the rules that hindered handicapped students.
Addressing participants of the 30th anniversary celebrations of the school here recently, he said he was impressed with students who pursued engineering courses despite their disabilities.
