Pondicherry
By Our Staff Reporter
PONDICHERRY, OCT. 13. THE Secretary of the Pondicherry CPI(M), T. Murugan, has urged the Administration to involve the Central Bureau of Investigation in the inquiry into the alleged harassment of five women workers in the Aurobindo Ashram here. Mr. Murugan said the National Commission for Women had directed the State Women's Commission to look into allegations of sexual harassment. This would be the first case for the State commission, set up recently. However, when contacted, an Ashram source said that there was `no basis in the allegation`.
