ERODE, OCT. 13. Jai Ganesh of SRSA beat CBA's Santhosh 3-2 in the Chinthamani memorial second open State snooker tournament at the SS Sports Academy here on Wednesday.

The results: Group A: Jai Ganesh (SRSA) bt Santhosh (CBA) 3-2 (72-40, 50-30, 54-60, 34-70, 54-33), Sunil Mathew (TNBSA) bt Palanisamy (TUP) 3-0 (53-27, 59-55, 69-30).

Group C: Thendeswar (Karnataka) bt Md. Mueen (MBC) 3-0 (84-19, 70-36, 53-2), Hari (MBC) bt Srjun (SSA) 3-2 (27-50, 45-43, 34-72, 74-71, 71-27), Md. Nueen bt Srjun (SSA) 3-1 (59-52, 27-44, 68-33, 69-58).
