THANJAVUR, OCT.13 . Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetam Sri Jayendra Saraswathi Swamigal visited Thanajvur today. On his arrival from Kumbakonam, he was given a reverential welcome at Kodimariamman Temple by S.V.Santanaraman, Sri Karyam to the Swamigal, and advocate Krishnamurthy with `poornakumbam.' The Shankaracharya visited Bangaru Kamakshi Amman Temple. Rajappa, Executive Officer of the temple, received him. After offering prayers at the temple, the Shankaracharya performed Chandramouleeswara puja and blessed the devotees. Later, he left for Pudukottai.
