Janashakti faction to stay away from peace talks

By Our Correspondent

BHIMAVARAM, OCT 13. The Janashakti (Ramachandran group), one of the splinter groups, would not participate in the direct peace talks being held by the State Government in Hyderabad on October 15, its leader J.V. Raghavulu, has said.

In a statement here on Wednesday, Mr. Raghavulu accused the State Government of failing to take necessary action to remove false cases registered against some of their activists and farmers in East Godavari district. The cadre was not happy with the Government for deliberately adopting double standards and unleashing terror on public in the agency area, he alleged.

The State Government was according priority only to the People's War and neglecting other revolutionary parties. In this backdrop their party would keep itself away from talks until the false cases were removed.
